Dr. Susan Bryant
EDUCATION
Susan has a Doctorate of Liberal Studies from Georgetown University, an MA in International Relations from Yale University, an MA in Operational Studies from Marine Corps University's School of Advanced Warfighting and BSFS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Additionally, Susan is a graduate of MIT's Seminar XXI program and former Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow.
EXPERIENCE
Susan has decades of experience in US Military and in education. She served 28 years on active duty in the United States Army, first as a logistician and then as a military strategist. Her military assignments include Senior Military Fellow, National Defense University, Chief of Staff of the Army's Strategic Studies Group, Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, Programs and Assessments for the United States Security Coordinator for Israel and Palestine, and as the Division Chief for Strategy, Concepts and Doctrine on the Army Staff. Her overseas assignments include Israel, Afghanistan, and South Korea. She has also taught as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy, West Point. She is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at Georgetown University, a visiting lecturer at Johns Hopkins University and Visiting Research Fellow at National Defense University.
